Engine Coatings
In addition to powder and ceramic coatings, we also offer a full like of performance engine coatings. These power-enhancing coatings are intended for use with internal engine parts. You can considerably increase the performance of your motor by utilizing one or more of these coatings on your internals.
Dry Film Lubricants are intended for rod and main bearings. They reduce friction, galling, and scuffing which increases part life when applied any part subject to rotating friction. No clearance changes are required when using this coating.
Thermal Barrier Coatings serve to0 reduce part temperatures. This coating is designed to keep heat in the combustion chamber longer throughout the power stroke. It increases torque, horsepower, and combustion chamber efficiency.
Buff-on Extreme Pressure/Temperature Lubricants are designed for cylinder walls, lifter bores, and valve guides. This coating can carry loads up to 350,000 PSI. It also reduces friction and wear while also improving ring seal and leakdown.
High Load Durable Lubricants are primarily used to build up piston skirts. It is durable and long lasting, used in very high RPM engines where very long rods are used.
Thermal Dispersant Coatings are ideal for intake manifolds, brake components, and oil pans. This coating rapidly disperses heat away from a coated component and evenly distributes heat over a coated surface, aiding in the cooling of sensitive components. It has an excellent chemical and corrosion resistance.
High Heat I.D. Coatings are intended for the internal diameter of chrome pipes to reduce bluing. It is an excellent thermal barrier for exhaust ports, since its smooth finish also enhances flow through the port.
We would be happy to help clarify if you have any questions about whether or not these coatings are right for you motor. For more information or to start a quote, give us a call at 913.321.2116.
